Caring for Carers

DSC 0004 v2

 Ana & Robyn

Hi from Robyn and Ana. We coodinate the Carers and Multicultural Carers support groups and run information courses, education workshops and events throughout the year.

Often carers are so busy in their caring role that they are not aware of services and support available to them. We are here to support you. We encourage you to join our Program and also find support through other carers who are in similar circumstances. This program is funded by the Federal Government (Department of Social Services) and the NSW Government (Department of Family & Community Services) under the Commonwealth Home Support Program.

We also partner with the Northern Beaches Council and local community services.

What We Do

Our Caring for Carers program provides support, education, information, referral and assistance to carers who reside on the Northern Beaches, empowering them to manage the demands of their caring situation and to maintain their own health and wellbeing.

Who we Help

Anyone who is responsible for a member of their family or a friend, who is frail aged, has dementia or memory loss, has a physical, intellectual or mental health disability or an illness requiring assistance with daily living.

How does it work?

We also provide:

  • Courses, Educational Sessions and Workshops
